Cover the surface with chalk”]
This may get Messy! So perhaps do it outside. First thing to do is cover the entire chalkboard surface with chalk. Rubbing the side of the chalk and in all directions… left to right, top to bottom and criss cross.

Rub in and wipe clean”]
Now that everything is all chalked up, grab a soft microfiber cloth. Then rub the chalk into the surface in circular motion. Then wipe clean with the cloth until the chalk is all off .

Now that the surface is primed you are free to unleash your carrotivity!
To cut down on dust when erasing, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth, and be sure the board is dry before drawing again.
